Sails doused and stowed, the anchor set in muddy bottom
Reclining crew rest tired feet up on the transom
Raised glasses clink as rose red sun’s descent is toasted
Day’s tales regaled, awash in evening’s pastel palette

The breeze clocks ‘round and freshens
Laughing sailors spring to tend the sheets
Necks crane to watch the telltales flutter
All hands eagerly the windshift greet
